What are the kind of services provided by a business consultant

We offer consulting services and training for executive level non-profit leaders, small businesses, and board members. We also consult with corporations interested in increasing productivity and employee engagement.  We tailor our services to meet the specific needs identified through consultation with the client.

What should I expect from a business consultant

Expect a business consultant to start with an assessment of the business’s current situation and then develop a plan to meet the business’s identified internal or external goals. The assessment will include a review of the company’s operations, financials, marketing, and customer service. Once the assessment is complete, the consultant will work with the business leadership to develop a strategy and timeline for achieving identified goals. This should include a focus on creating cost savings, increasing efficiency, and strategies to improve customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. Finally, the consultant will provide ongoing support to ensure the plan is followed and the desired results are achieved.

What is life coaching?

Life Coaching provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space to help clients discover what they want for themselves.
A life coach can help formulate and construct the productive, positive tools needed to achieve positive outcomes and develop new goals and coping skills.
Life coaching consists of steps to help identify and re-frame thoughts and attitudes. It can also help break negative habits, acquire new healthy habits, and enable taking action to achieve maximum potential.

How can life coaching help me?

Life coaching may help with identifying negative behaviors, and learning new ways to form productive habits. Coaching can often identify ways to improve relationships, and develop a more fruitful and rewarding life. In addition, coaching can help with finding appropriate decision making skills, time management and organizing skills.

How is coaching different from mental health therapy?

Life Coaching is different from mental health therapy in that it is not designed to address mental health issues but instead it can help with sociological issues related to the here-and-now. If emotional or psychological issues arise, we can help you find a therapist or psychiatrist in your area. Our primary focus is to help our clients identify goals, find ways to achieve them, and develop constructive habits and skills for healthier living

How can I tell if I have a mental health problem?

If you are experiencing persistent feelings of sadness, anxiety, or hopelessness, or if you are having difficulty functioning in your everyday life for six months or more, it is important to seek professional help. A mental health professional can assess your symptoms and help you determine whether you have a mental health disorder, and if so, assist in determining the best course of treatment.

How do I deal with feelings of guilt?

Guilt can be a difficult emotion to manage. In coming to terms with guilt, it helps to first recognize what you are feeling guilty about and why. Then, consider the reasons you feel that way, and what changes you can make to help correct the problem or situation.  If the situation cannot be changed, try then to practice self-forgiveness; talk with a trusted friend or counselor, and focus on positive actions that you can take in the future.

How do I deal with feelings of inadequacy or self worth?

It is not unusual to sometimes have periods of feeling low or inadequate.  Often, it helps to try to identify what is causing you to feel this way. It could be a particular event or situation, or it could be a result of a life-long pattern of thoughts and beliefs. Once you have identified the source, you can work on how to address it. This could involve seeking professional help, talking to a friend or family member, or even engaging in self-care through exercise, healthy eating, and getting enough sleep. It is also helpful to engage in “positive, affirming self-talk” and regularly reminding yourself of your inherent worth, your strengths and positive qualities.

What is spiritual counseling and how does it help?

Spirituality can be broadly viewed as a ray of sunshine that offers meaning, happiness, and thankfulness during good times as well as challenging times. Some people believe that the spiritual self  helps a person stay centered and focused.  Our approach places an emphasis on self-reflection and action rather than resignation.

We believe that counseling can offer basic intervention to those struggling with spiritual challenges, and that connecting with one’s spiritual self can help when confronting adversity rather than collapsing under its weight.

We do not have all the answers.  Our role is to join with our clients in their search for a spiritual awakening or breakthrough. We do so with empathy and compassion.  Our goal is to help our clients get a view of the actions and decisions that got them to where they are now and help them make better choices in the future. We are non-judgmental in our approach and realize that life decisions are ultimately owned by the client. Our role is to simply help our clients uncover and tap into their hidden potential through spiritual awakening and empowerment.

Are our services confidential?

Discussions are held in the strictest confidence and are not shared with anyone. However, our discussions are not privileged for legal purposes if there is a threat to self or to others. The privilege of confidentiality exists for our spiritual counselors, coaching and mental health professionals.

What is our cancellation policy?

We require a 24- hour notice to cancel. If scheduled appointments are not kept, charges for the session will be assessed.

Is there a difference between virtual (remote) conferencing?

In our view, both have value and can be equally beneficial.  Virtual conferencing is often less expensive and consumes less of a client’s time.
